What is dark chocolate

Dark chocolate is made from cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and sugar, without added milk ingredients, resulting in a rich and complex flavor. Often referred to as “bittersweet chocolate” or “semi-sweet chocolate,” its cocoa content ranges from 50% to 100%, making it highly versatile in taste.

For businesses engaged in the wholesale and retail of chocolate products, dark chocolate is an indispensable item that enjoys immense popularity in the market.

The Progress of We Make Dark Chocolate

Material Preparation

All our cocoa beans are sourced from long-term suppliers in Ghana. We ensure the highest quality cocoa beans, with production quality control starting from the raw materials.

Enhance Aroma

Cocoa beans undergo roasting to fully release their flavor and aroma. We utilize advanced large-scale roasting equipment to achieve a controlled roasting process.

Grinding & Conching

After roasting, the beans are cracked and the nibs are extracted. The nibs are then finely ground to form cocoa mass, which is further refined through a process called conching. This step improves the texture, making the dark chocolate smooth and velvety, and helps release the remaining volatile flavors.

Tempering &Molding

where the cocoa mass is carefully cooled and then gently reheated to stabilize the chocolate. After tempering, the chocolate is poured into molds, cooled, and packaged.

Have Questions?

Is there any difference between compound chocolate and dark chocolate?

Compound chocolate contains vegetable oil rather than cacao butter. It is budget-friendly, liquefies quickly, does not require processing, and hardens properly in warm conditions. It is ideal for mass decorations. Whereas dark chocolate contains cacao butter. It has very rich flavor and a distinct “crack”, but requires processing to harden.

We provide complete variety of cacao content. The ratio of our medium-sweet chocolate is 50-60%. Bittersweet has 60-75% ratio. And the low-sugar dark variety has 75-90% ratio.
